There are strange creatures in nature!

Goodmorning everybody!

It was a nice weekend, quiet as I like it, saw a lot of tv and also did some designing.
Yesterday we watched a program Jan took on DVD, it was a nature program with David Attenborough, I love that man, he can tell so passionate about nature and it's creatures.
The program yesterday was "Attenborough's Ark of Noah".
He picked 10 animals who are endangered species, which as he told, was an almost impossible task, because there are lots more, but he chose some very interesting ones.
I tried to ding something about it and I did even find this particular one I saw.
I will give you the link and if you have time, it's a wonderful video on you tube.
Good thing is also to know, that there are people who want to help those animals in survival and support special projects for breeding which might prevent extinction of those beautiful creatures.

My chili con carne was a success, LOL. It isn't so difficult to make, but I always try to give a recipee a bit of personal touch, and like to use as much of fresh ingredients as possible.
I have more than enough for today too and I think I will put a part of it in a little box to put it in the freezer for later.
Yesterday I made some rice with it, today I think I will cook some potatoes, or may be I'll make potatoe mesh of them, don;t know yet.

This week I will have to dive into some papers and copy them, because ;ast year we didn;t earn very much money, so it might be the case that we can a[pply for reduction or even more of some taxes. I understand they want some evidence of your income, but I saw the list of papers you will have to add at the appplication and it's a very long list! I hope i can find all the necessary stuff. Perhaps it will be worth all that trouble.
Hate a bit all that paperwork, but I must give myself a kick in the bottom, and do it, cause it can save us several hundreds of euros. We'll see if that happens, because we often are just that lucky people who just don't meet all the necessary conditions, it stucks on just a tiny little thing most of the time LOL.

I have a sneak peek for you of my last finished kit, which will be posted somewhere next month.

Any idea what kit this is?
I had really great fun making this one, all came out the way I wanted.

Okay on to the freebie for today, "The Forgotten Tears", and clusters from Arlene.
Have a great day.

I think it's a shame we have to produce so much paperwork to prove our income. But I suppose it will be worth it if it lowers the tax bill. Good luck with it.

Your sneak peek preview is rather interesting. I recognized a couple of things but could not figure out what it was.

It snowed here yesterday and over night. Before I can go home this morning, I will have to go outside and clean off my car which is covered in snow.

Gosh, I will be so glad to see the Spring weather come. Well, it's time to check on the Mrs and then geet ready to go out side. You have a wonderful day. Hugs, Edna B.

wow, thanks for the lovely kit, I adore the colors.
I did not even turn my computer on yesterday, trying to stay away from it to allow my shoulders to rest.
My friend Jan and I spent some time Friday getting our haircuts, and Saturday doing "girl" things, we got a facial, had lunch, shopped and had a wonderful visit.
Today the handyman is coming back, in about another hour, to redo the master bathroom sick, faucet and counter top.
Glad you and Jan had a most relaxing weekend! Have a good week this week too, get ALL you can back on your taxes...don't allow government to have too much when you need it more than they do. LOL!
Hugs, Mat

Hello and Thank you for these lovely downloads.
From your preview it looks like the name of your new kit is Frozen in Time. I think the pastel colours you've chosen look really nice together...

Hi, there, Kyra!

It has been too long! I got your sweet comment on my blog and have been thinking of you since. I have read back several posts on your blog to see what you and Jan have been up to. I'm sorry to hear he has had health problems. About his back, if they operate, it will never be the same. Though the initial problem I had was fixed by surgery, the skeletal system, adjacent to that region, has gone wacky. I know several people who have had this happen. Bless him!

Chili con carne! Mmmmm! I like mine over rice with a dollop of sour cream and a twist of lime. LOL I have a recipe where you use chuck roast, cut up, no beans, and just a few seasonings. But, oh my goodness! It is the best I have ever eaten! I add beans some times.

I see you are still designing your awesome kits! How you come up with new material is a mystery to me. You've done it since I've known you, though. And, they are all just as beautiful as the next!

I got the latest e-mail from Minky. Ian gave her the friendship quilt 'squares' we all contributed towards. She was super excited. I am glad. It must make her feel better. I worry for her, but, she is doing a wonderful job of taking care of herself. That's all we can do!

You keep taking care of YOU! Well, Jan, too! LOL I miss the groups and all, but, we have both gone on to amazing things, so, that is good!

Love and hugs,
Su
