We will have "the week of Florence".

Goodafternoon everybody!

Yes, late posting today, but I first had to be at an appointment with my volunteer coach, and as it was on the way to the bank, I dropped there a few bills that needed to be payed and walked on to the market.
It was a quick visit, but I got some veggies and fruit there and when I came hme I desparately was in need of a cup of coffee and a sandwich. So I did that first and here I am at last.
The weekend was rather nice. It started already Friday afternoon, we actually had a fine Spring day, so Jan and I sat for a while in the garden, to catch a few moments in the sun.
The rest of the weekend was quiet, although it was better for me than for Jan. At the moment the poor soul has a lot of pain from his back, it seems to be a bit better though today, but he is glad he has his painkillers. He is not happy to take them, but sometimes he just has to.

I just got a mail from the language trainings course, it will start next Thursday and that 4 times.
I am curious what it will be like!. In the meantime I am at an internship for "language in the neighbourhood"  (Dutch for not native citizens, who know a bit of it but want to improve it) and I will do that for some time, and may be , but nothing sure yet, there will be a place as volunteer language coach at the social centre in a few months. Perhaps one of the teachers will be emigrating and then it could happen that I will get my "own"group to give Dutch to. That would be a great thing!
But first I will do the training, and then we will see about a follow up.

And yes, you've read the post title, "a week of Florence". You know by now, that beside the very talented Arlene, I also post sometimes clusters from Florence. Well, this lady is sending me so much stuff, that I have loads of clusters waiting to be posted. And as I am not in the greatest speed of making new kits, I thought it would be a great idea to make a little break and post some work of Florence this week.
I am sure you will be able to use some of her lovely clusters in a layout.

Weather here is getting better and you can see that in the garden. You really can see every day something new coming up. And it will get even better later this week with sun, nice temperatures, so I am looking forward to that.

For now, that is about all I can think off to write, and I think I will spend a bit of time at the computer, before it's time to prepare dinner.
Till Wednesday then, have a wonderful day and stay safe!

Such a lot going on with you and Jan. Gardening, cleaning house, walking dogs, shopping, language lessons,Jan's surgery etc. I thought things were suppose to slow down as we got older.:)
I too have been busy.We had family over for a cookout Easter Sunday. My grand daughters are getting older and one has decided she is too old for the egg hunt.:) It was nice having family together.:)
I actually took time today to make some cards. Not for any special occasion...Just in case I need a card in a hurry.I made one for Mama's birthday this week. She will be 86 on Wednesday.Time sure flies when we keep busy huh? :)
Thank you so much for all you share! So sweet of you!

Huge hugs,

Good morning Kyra. I'm a bit late getting caught up. Gosh, I'm so happy about your language training classes. It certainly would be wonderful to have your own group. I'll say a little prayer that it all works out well for you.

Tell Jan to take things a bit easy for now. I hope things are better with his back soon.

Now I'm going to catch up on your next post before going back to bed. You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.
