Goodmorning everybody!
Yesterday Jan and I were a couple of busy bees, which was a bit necessary after a few days of chilling, LOL.
I took off the sheets and covers from the bed and also removed the matras, and then the bed-bottoms, cause there was needed some serious vacuum cleaning under it! But how nice, Jan did that and also gave the whole room a good sweep. In the mean time I turned on the washing machine with it's 1st load and then did some cleaning in the living room. Mainly all the small windows in the cupboards, they shine again. Then wanted to put on the bedwash again, but Jan already did that too! So I went to do some ironing, making place for the new laundry. It wasn;t too much, so finished I also did some serious cleaning in the kitchen too, some washing up cups and mugs, laundry ready, hanged that out.
New laundry, the bedwash into the machine, time for a sandwich, took a quick tour in the garden, then ang out the bedwash to dry and then thought we did a nice job and sat down at the computer, hey!
Not sure yet what I'll do today. I could go out to buy us a little staircase, just one with 3 steps, which is handy and I saw a nice one last week. But at the moment the weather isn;t looking all to bright, so I might wait a bit, see how it will be in the afternoon. Also should post a birthday card for a friend, I must not forget that!
Opening my mail I had such a sweet one from Minky! A new baby is born at the Sulina's family, a baby girl, her name is Ceres. Minky sent me a picture of her, she also posted it on her blog. Look at this:
Didn't Minky make a beautiful layout???? Perhaps you could take a moment to go to her blog and leave some congratulations there. It's always a miracle, over and over again, to see a new born, and looking at it's face that still has that innocense and yet already all that wisdom on it.
I'll have a small kit for you today, in very soft colour, named "Sweet Embrace". And now I am off to continue on some stuff I am making for Minky's blog again and hoping to see a glimpse of sunshine today.
Have a great day!

You sure had a busy day!!! It's rather damp and gray here, so it's a good day to do errands. I love the colors in your kit. They are sort of nostalgic, good for wonderful old photos.
My Tootsie is feeling a bit neglected here, so I'm off to spend some time with her before I leave to do my errands. You have a great day. Hugs, Edna B.
