I just want to make a short post about our cat Micky. Jan and I brought her this afternoon to the vet and she got the injection to sleep forever. It's always a sad moment, and how hard I try not to shed a tear, I always cry. But it's an animal we had for about 14 years, so you are attached to it. She passed away very peaceful and we were with her the whole time.
(still cannot keep my eyes dry at the moment) So we are left with the two brothers now. They just feel something has changed and the last days they were very kind to her. Okay, it has been done, better for Micky, because also the vet said not much could be done, she just reached her age to go. I made this layout when I was home again, with one of my fairy kits.

Oh Kyra, I'm so sad for you.. We lost our beloved Izzy a few weeks ago and I am still crying for her..

I always feel so sad when I hear of a pet who passed away.
My own cat Joey went missing almost 3 weeks ago and I am desperate! Searching every day.
I wish you so much strenght to overcome this difficult time and perhaps you"ll find comfort in the knowledge your pet had a wonderful life at yours.

Oh Kyra...I am soo sorry to hear about your friend.Our pets become our family... and especially after so long a time.Fourteen years is a long time to love and be loved.:)I know it had to be a hard decision for you...but there's a lot to be said about the "quality" of life.KWIM?
