Everybody is soooo busy!

Goodmorning everybody!

Yes, it seems, everybody of my blog and designer friends is as busy as can be. I try to check each morning at least my blog following list and everywhere I read, that there is a time shortage, and that they are doing all kind of things. So it's good to read that, I am not the only one who is sometimes running after herself to catch up with things~LOL

Soon now I hope to receive the new connection things from the provider and then an installer comes to do all the plugging etc. I hope all will be going well, without problems. So I will warn you when I may be not in the air, it may just be for a very short time, say an hour, if things go wrong it may be for longer. Let's all keep ouur fingers crossed it just will be for a VERY SHORT time. I have the appointment for the 18th of November.WHEEEEEEEE!!
The things that I am so itchy about it is, that we are so often the people who have the problems with new stuff, and when we talk to others, nobody has these problems. I think we sometimes are just cursed with that fact. LOL>!

But for now all is running as it should on the "old"thing, and I made you a mini kit for today. I run into a nice pattern and made the first paper of it and then made some background papers from the colors in that pattern. I think it is a sweet little kit, I very much like those colors.

First step to Christmas

Goodmorning everyone!

It seems I will have to make more vintage like things, well, I don;t mind, there are nice things to do with that. I'm glad you like it.

Oh, yesterday at 23.00 o'clock yes, evening, the phone ringed. I don;t like it when it rings at that hour, I always get a bit jumpy. But it was Danny, who just came home and was walking with the dog. And then he noticed he left his keys in the house, the nerd! So good for him that we have a set of them, so he came over to pick them up. It seems, that with Heidi all is okay, well let;s say they couldn;t find anything really wrong with her. So she will be home already today/ But she still is soo terribly tired after just doing little efforts, there must be found SOMETHING to improve that. But for the moment she has a kind of assurance that nothing really scary is wrong with her. In a few weeks she will have to go again for a very new test and if possible Danny wants to have a talk with her specialist, because he still isn;t happy with her health at the moment. But let us be happy that at least for the moment there isn't a bad message and the task to her is, changing style of life, rather drasticly! And that's the problem. Well, we can only give her some advice, but she has to do it herself, the stubborn girl!

So I managed to finish off the first Christmaskit of this year and I am offering it to you now. It's about the event happened long ago on Christmas day, and I named it "O Holy Night". I hope you will like it, there will be following other kits, which willhave a more happy or funny nature, but hey..I am glad that I made a start already!

About Jan there is not much news to tell. I am happy that slowly he starts to eat some more, with more taste also. It even happens sometimes he gets up in the night and takes a cup of soup, or some slices of cheese ora little sandwich! When I notice that in the morning (I ALWAYS notice when he took something, haha) I almost praise him like a little child which did a good thing. LOL. He still has a too skinny face though, but to get his old "him"back. it will take mch more time. Well, I am happy ith every step in the god direction. In about 3 weeks we'll have another appointment in the hospital.

So now you are all up to date and I will take some time today to finish another kit. May be it will be ready for tomorrow. I hope so!

Not nice weather overhere!

Goodmorning everybody!

It's really autumn weather here! Sundaay night wind started to blow severe, rain kept falling and also yesterday it stayed very gloomy weather. I was glad I didn;t had to get out. But today it's different. Must say weather is a tiny little bit better, but no matter how it is, I must go out to do some shopping and also in the afternoon go to Heidi's doggy to give him a walk. Brrrrr. I am not amused!!

I have something nice to show you. Cat, from http://paisleycatscrapsfreebloglayouts.blogspot.com/ made a blog layout from my kit Un Souvenir. She has already several blogs, but this is a new one. Take a look there and see what other nice blogs she has. Quit a a lady with a lot of creativity of all kind! Here is a peek to the layout:

I finaly made the first Christmas kit. It is a nice one, but very basic, but okay, some of the papers look nice. Pffff, that's one. But I still have to do a lot of work to make some more and I will try to make them all rather different. We will see what it will be! I am not yet posting this one today, I have something different for you. It's also a vintage looking one, in some different colours than the last one. I don't know what it is, but suddenly I find myself in the vintage scene, LOL. Wel, you have to admit that there are some lovely old pictures on the net, which are screaming out: take me and do soething with me!!!! Hahaha.

I just hope it doesn't bore you too much, having some vintage like kits. This one I named "Just Thinking".

Still a watery nose!

Goodmorning everybody!

I am getting a bit exhausted from the cold. Oh boy, when will it be gone????????? It's a bit better, I must say, but still going to slowly for me. From time to my sweet little nose is running full and then I need sometimes lots of paper to get it a bit empty. I am NOT amused at all !! Okay, compaining done, that's off my chest!

For the moment there isn't much going on, so I am afraid it is going to be a very dull post, except for the freebie. Yeah, I have another one! I came across some very nice brushes from watches and suddenly the idea came up to make this kit. I think you can use it for a lot of things, it will even fit for the New Year celebration. Wow, that's quick. I even didn;t start making some Christmaskits, but it is going to be time now. Just must get in the right mood for it. I haven't the Christmas feeling yet! It will come, be not afraid!

I was a" late" sleeper today

Goodmorning everybody!

For me I was late out of bed today. only at 09.30 o'clock I stepped out of my bed. Yep, that's already a bit late for me. But then I went in rather late yesterday, I watched some tv in the evening, then Jan went for a quick visit to the pub, so I did some more on the computer and then I watched another film later with Jan and went to bed at 3 o'clock! I managed to do some quickpages for the wedding album, that's progressing fine. The most I am worried about making that dvd, cause that's all new to me. But I am pleased about some of the pages. How much more attractive it is, to look at pictures when they are scrapped, isn;t it? They come much more to life!

I checked and found out that the Veteran day here in Holland is actually at the 27th of June. But as I said before, also Poppy day on the 11th of November is celebrated, but on a smaller scale.

And what did I brewed for you today? I have a real vintage looking kit I want to offer. I found the colorscheme on the site of Colorlovers(wonderful to go to if you don;t know, what colours to use) and it ended in this kit"Un Souvenir"Don;t you just LOVE the papers with the cild with the rose???? My heart melted when I found that one.

Well, I must try to finish the kit for tomorrow and I want to do some more on the album, and if time is left I must try to do a scan (will also be the first time). Yeah, I have a new computer but working with all the stuff on it and all the possibilities is something different! And when the album is finished I have to upload the musci for it and place it to it, oh boy, ALL kind of hills to be taken. For the ones, doing that already for a longer time it semmes I am just weeping for nothing, because it is just SOOO easy! Yeah, if you know ow to handle it it is easy! LOL.
But.... I won't give up! I am determined to finish it and so I will,.........one day. hahaha.

Tomorrow Heidi is going to the hospital and I trylu hope they find something that will make her feel a bit better and less fatigued all the time. On Tuesday and Wednesday I am also the doggy - let out- to have a pee- service, yes. Danny has to work then in afternoon and evening, so the poor little thing will be left alone too long to keep all his business UP, as they say. Well, he asked me if I could do that for those two days. Of course, no problem. Séverine will be at her grandmother for those days, and hopefully Heidi will be home again at Thirsday.

So next week already has a bit of a schedule, but surely there will be lots more to do. Better to have to do a lot than nothing at all, I suppose.

Now I can tell and show

Now at last I can show you what I was talking about still yesterday! On the 11th of November there is Poppy Day or Veteran Day, well in most countries it is on that date. Here in Holland it is celebrated here and there, but not as big as e.g. in England. But I have a mini blogtrain to announce you. Snowy and Edna were so kind to ask me to join them in this project and of course I said yes! My FIRST collaboration, wow! The 3 kits are very different but all are great, I think. Snowy has it with an Emglish character, Edna with an American and I tried to make it Dutch. So I did mine in the colours of the Dutch flag, red, white blue and some orange from our banner on the flag.




I will show you the previews and give you also the links to the other blogs. Due to time zones, it might be, that Edna's kit will be on her blog later today(there is a difference of about 6 hours!!).

It was so hard for me to keep it quiet for a while, because I was so enthousiastic and flattered too about this little collaboration!

And yesterday I was very busy again. I finished a nice kit(will be for tomorrow) and then I started to scrap a lot of the best pictures of my wedding and then I will try to cook something up in Window Movie maker( never done it before, so it will be a blank area for me!) and burn that to a DVD/ Will be much nicer to look at than only just pictures, I suppose. Till now I used some of my own kits for the scrapping but also downloaded some of fellow designers. And yesterday I took some time to go to Valinda's blog http://vjscraproom.blogspot.com/ and took already a lot of her QP. Always liked her quickpages and amired them, and she has very, very much quickpages!
Yes, i decided to make the scraps not with one theme or colourscheme, but just randomly scrapped, just that they look nice. So you see, I keep myself far too busy, this also will take several weeks and I surely hope I will manage to get them on a dvd!
I first will try to make a "film" with some other pictures, just to get used to the movie maker.

So now I will get on, have to post my kit on Digiscrap Depot and two other forums, and then I want to make some quickpages I think for my "project" and must think about another freebie for next week.
I wish you all a very happy week-end, some of you will have Veteran day celebration already on Sunday and I think it is a good thing for all of us to think about all the lives lost in all the wars, if only just for a moment. I just wished that it happened no more, but unfortunately every day a life is lost in a battle, small or big, justified or not, it already is terrible that people are fighting eachother. And from which view it is justified?? Basicly I do not believe any fighting is justified, because it seldom solves the real problems. I think that is the message to remember from Veteran Day.

First I must mention, that I received again the award

This time from Glynis from http://ghunibee.blogspot.com/. It could be an interesting blog to visit, she discovered the scrapping virus, she lives on Cyprus(oh lucky one, with the weather!) and she has nice stories about her life there and also makes beautiful pictures. Take a few minutes to pay her a visit!

I already told her my thanks, of course, but also that I skipp this time the nominations.

Then the day is approaching for some very nice news for you, it has to do with Poppy day, involves some other people and that's all I say. I know I was already teasing you with it, but if all goes right, I will have a post tomorrow which you should not MISS!!!!

And of course you noticed I had a bloglayout change AGAIN! YEAH!!!! I liked the autumn layout, but suddenly it felt a little bit sad, and dark, so I changed it with another layout of Allison Brown. She also had a header to it, so I took that one too. I hope to stick to this one for a couple of weeks(you'll NEVER know) before I will change it into a very Christmassy one. I saw a few very nice ones, so wait and judge for yourself in a couple of weeks.

After all this I even managed to have a little kit for you. I fell back to an old love of mine: PENGUINS. Somehow they always seem to touch me with a smile on the face and tenderness aside of it. Well, we are approching winter times(yes I know, only some of us) so it can be nice for some colder layouts. Simple title"CHILLY" but it suites well the penguins.

After all these messages I must get on now, still want to do some kit making and perhaps a challenge. I must not forget to show you another layout I made for the letter challenge. I even have two!!! It will have to wait till Sunday, I think.
