Going into the "new"!

Goodmorning everybody!

Pretty much vague the title today, hmmmm? I'll explain. I yesterday signed in for an action of my internet provider and tv cable provider(the same). I can get a new bundle for 3 euro more to pay each month and I get digital tv with the modem free, telephone by internet modem and an internet connection which will be twice as fast! Wow, finally Jan and I went over the edge to take the telephone in a new area, LOL! We were all the time a bit suspicious, because we heard of a lot of problems with it, but you have to get on with the time, they say. And I finally am going to have a digital cable connection for th tv, which means that if I am only take the basic I will have about 60 programs instead of the 34 now. And the broadcast will be better on the screen of the tv, much sharper. So if all goes well, the installer comes on the 18th of november to put all the connections in the right place etc. I am very curious if all will work well. (As I am typing now, at the same time Jan is frequently giving his remarks on the television program etc. to me, so all the time I have to look up, give him a smile or a hmmmmmmm, or a knod, all very disturbing, !!).

But be happy with me, I have a new kit for you. I found some nice patters, Celtic ones and I made a kit from it. I hope it is a bit Celtic all the way, should ask that to my forum friend Snowy of http://silversnowyraven.blogspot.com/ and the Magickal Scraps, LOL. You should check her blog, because she is now busy to learns a lot with Poser and she makes nice things already, wow!

Then I have the bloghopping to do, to keep posted of the new things some of my scrap friends are doing, then there is the email to keep up, it's a terribly busy world I stept in when I started the blog and the scrapping!

Special day in the world?

Goodmorning everybody!

Well, let's start with the breaking news. A new president of America is chosen and it's Obama. I suppose some of my American friends are happy now and others perhaps not. But it still is a kind of historical event that happened. Now I only hope everybody will not expect that changes will be done within a year or so, he is just a man in an important position, but not a miracle maker! The problems are way too big, to get them solved in a short time. So everybody in the world will have to give Barack Obama time. But I truly hope he will gather a real good and trustworthy staff around him to help him in his tremendous job. May be he really will be able to slowly change things for the good.

I usualy don't like to discuss politics, and specially not on my blog, but I thought this was such an important event I just had to spent a few words on.

Yesterday I did my shopping and I bought some bigger shrimps for the dinner. I first marinated them to give them more taste. And oh boy, was I glad we didn;t had any visitors last evening! Because the poor guests would have been blown out of the house by the smell of GARLIC!!! Yummie.

And coming back of the shopping I still didn;t sat down. No, I first cleaned the fridge! And done that I could sit down with a drink and a small sandwich. Now today is staying home day, I suppose, so maybe I will be able to do some more on the designing , because lately it is going slowly! But it is that way because I always want to make them better, and better often means : taking more time.

Almost reborn me

Goodmorning everybody!

Yes, it is going a lot better with me,not necessary to walk with a little jug tied under my nose LOL to catch all the water etc. dripping of my nose! So in a few days it will be hopefully end of that story.

I suppose many of you already know the CU Freebies Only Blog? Well, there is now also a forum to it(see my side bar, I have their blinkies!) and it is a free registration. It's not only for designers to post there but all scrapping lovers can go there for a hunt to collect wonderful CU freebies. And certainly for us kitmakers, who are not always gifted with talent to make new elements and more, it is a treasure chest overthere! It is worth to join and look around.

Then I already give you two links for a freebie, because it's wonderful one. Linda, from http://bonscrapatitdesigns.blogspot.com/ and Vicky from http://vicki20.blogspot.com/ joined in a collaboration for a wonderful kit. It's called Festivity and you are going to feel happy just looking at it. Go over there and take the first downloads, it is a fabulous job they have accomplished.

Now today I already have more on the "to do"list than there will be time! After the blogposting I want to start already with another kit, then I have to do some shopping, then surely there is something more to do in the house, then already it will be time to go freebiehunting for the list and hopefully some time left to continue on the kit. And I also should do some challenges too, but I am afraid it will have to wait till tomorrow.
I am always wanting to do too much in too little time. I think, I will NEVER learn to change that.
Oh well, it makes me the person I am, hahahahaha.

So now the kit for today. I think it can be used for a lot of things, which also is practical sometimes, and I really LOVED to work with this colourscheme. Do you think it turned out well?

It's already a bit better with the cold, not gone yet, but it will be, some day.

I wasn't very productive yesterday, however did finish off the kit so I have a freebie for you today. And guess what I have another award! Goodmorning everybody!

Right away I start with a disappointing anouncement: there is NO freebie for you today! I was busy on it yesterday, but I just couldn;t find the spirit to finish it the way I wanted. So hopefully today it will be finished. The cold is still about the same, although it has up and down periods now. So I think it is slowly getting better.

I will put up a freebielist(of course) for you so don't disabandone my blog completely.!

A tiny bit less sniffing

Goodmorning everybody!

Hope your Halloween was a nice time for you. I surely was glad there was no celebration of it here, because I really wasn't up to it. But I had this time a rather good night of sleep. Woke up at about 5.40 in the morning, took something to drink and then about 6.30 I went back again till around 09.00! Still need to have my roll of paper next to me, but I am feeling a bit better. I was really pampered ( a bit) by Jan yesterday, he suddenly got the spirit and took off the dust and even hoovered around. POOHHHHH! That's really something to be mentioned, hahaha.
Just now I had to stand up from the desk to correct my cat Brodski, who was trying to make himself a nice place on some clothes of Jan. He leaves them sometimes on the couch and it seems very attractive to the cats.

Well, for today I have at least a freebie for you left. How nice. Curious what you are going to do with it. I name it "Pillars of Life".
You had quit a freebielist to go through yesterday, isn;t it? There were a lot of blogtrains in it, I think you will need some time for it today too! I must think of another way to put the freebielists upon my blog, perhaps I can figure out how to make another page on it. I think it will be easier to read the blog, when all the"written posts will be following up eachother, without the break everytime of the lists. Another thing to look into.

Well, here is the kit, I must go out for a little wile, to do a few necessary shoppings, must take enough paper with me to clean my nose, walking in the supermarket, hahaha.
