Found myself a new project, LOL!

Goodmorning everybody!

It was a rather good week, I can say, and it is nice to be able to say such a thing!
Every day I did some "work"at home, the cleaning stuff and such, not too exciting, also did some shopping here and there, in most of the time still not really bad weather.
Yesterday I gave myself a day off, LOL and went into town center. And oh, I was a preetty strong girl there, holding my hand firmly onto my wallet, to keep it shut, hahaha.
But.........I saw some really nice things too that might be good for Christmas presents, and I will go for it probably next week.

Jan is still having some trouble with his cold, although it's goin better slowly, but stubborn guy as he is, he thinks it's not necessary to go to the doctor. Well, He is that kind of guy and it has no use to "force"him going. So we'll see if it will get better, although it will take a longer time.
I "brewed"him a little drink, that should help a bit to cough up the mucus(I hope that is the right word for it?). Because of his liver and stomach trouble( which is going wonderful with his medicins now), he cannot just take any coughdrops. About all of them contain ingredients that are bad for him.
So therefor I wanted him to go to the doctor, perhaps he knows coughdrops he can take without problems.
Alas, we;ll have to do with my own brewed stuff, that may be can help a bit,  almost feel like a witch towards Halloween ROFL!!

What about my new project then? I have a lot of recipees, quite some neatly in a binder, but I see sometimes such nice recipee binders, all scrapped and lovely and happy looking, that finally I decided to give it a try myself. So I will do it the "old-fashioned"way, all by hand and using glue and paper and alll kind of lovely things. Gives me opportunity too to go through the recipees and I will only keep the ones I really use or will be using in near future. Oh, it will be a long project, I am sure, but it will give me something to do during winter and it will be good to do something "by hand"and not at the computer.

Time to get me a sandwich and another coffee, I think, and then get dressed and go out just quickly to buy some stewpears(yes, I saw the first ones already) and that will do fine as dessert for the next few days. I will make them this afternoon.
But I am not going before leaving a freebie. Named  it "Fresh Memory" and and all in purples!
Have a wonderful day and weekend!

Good morning Miss Kyra! Thanks so much for stopping by this morning to share a coffee and chat! ROFL here! I am trying to enjoy my coffee, but it just does not taste good this morning, think I will ice it and see if that will be better...I feel feverish, but am not. Just out of sorts with meds....YUCK!
Hoping Jan feels better soon, poor stubborn man, doesn't he realize if he doesn't get the cough broken up it could lead to pneumonia like you had that had you down for so long? Men are so stubborn, they think they are "rocks" and are stronger and don't need meds....LOL! Right?
So happy you have found new project, I have been working on mine as well, just organizing in a binder, but a good hand scrapped book would be nice (and I have plenty of scrapbooks and materials to use) of the ones I use the most...great idea for winter time, if I can quit coloring! LMBO I have gotten so addicted to coloring with pencils and yes even crayons (am I at the age of reverting back to childhood?) but the new very intricate patterns for adults is very addicting....and I don't know how (or have the interest in) crocheting or knitting or embroidery (but I love the finished products!) so this gives me something to do with my hands while watching/listening to the TV....(confused yet?)! Ha,ha,ha!
Right now, on the computer, I am creating the ABC books for Annabeth and Calvin (I have made the other 4 theirs between 2-3 years of age) and am starting the collection for this newest one just born (hope I am around long enough to do his...!) Keeping busy keeps the mind alert I am told! ROFLMBO!
Anyhow, got to get the trash and recycle bins out, the fur babies have been fed, now have to be bathed and I need to change and wash my bed linens today! Have a most wonderful weekend and enjoy the dessert! Lovely gift of the very purple Fresh Memory (I have lots of purple lover "girls" to scrap for) that I am sure will be used quite a bit! THANK YOU! Hugs, Mat

It's good to see you getting a new project. I guess that's what I did earlier this week when a young (not so young anymore) friend asked me for my recipe for Lumpias and my sweet and sour sauce. I'm going to put them on the blog.
Thanks for the gorgeous purples in the new kit.
Hugs from Sarge aka Corrine

Gosh, I hope Jan's cold clears up soon. If not, maybe he should listen to you and check with his doctor. Men try to be so macho!

Your purple kit is lovely. Thank you, I love purple. Actually, I love most colors. I've been busy making my QP's, and I'm really enjoying your kits. They make beautiful pages.

Yesterday I bought a new pattern book for baby cocoons, and some new yarn to use to make one. I have two new great grandbabies on the way. Woo Hoo! I know that one of them is going to be a girl.

I also got lucky and found the yarn that I need to finish one of my afghans. It was a good day!

I just cooked up a half of a hamburger for Pogo's lunch, and he ate it all up. Good Boy! Now he is napping beside me. On a pile of fuzzy blankets and two towels, of course!!

You have a wonderful day my friend. Hugs, Edna B.
