Looking a bit different

Goodmorning everybody!

First I have to share some sad news with you. I am sure that a lot of you are familiair with Lori's Freebielist.
Well, that will be no more, because Lori passed away due to a stroke! I was so sorry to hear about this, it must have been an aweful shock to her family and friends. You still can leave a little message on the blog, but the blog will be removed on Friday. Here's the link:

As always, when you hear such kind of news you realize suddenly, that life is in fact very fragile and we have to be happy with every day that is given to us.

And yes, how double this may be, life continues also and we must get on with our daily business, which doesn;t mean we should forget the people that touched our lives, in all different ways.

Who is looking  a bit different today? That's me! I finally went to the hairdresser to have a cut and I have very short hair again!Boy, that feels good and is again much easier to handle, I especially like that in summer time.
Also phoned Heidi yesterday to see if she had time for me, but the poor thing wasn;t having her day LOL! She told me that in the morning she had to do some jobs, like going to the thrombosis facility for a check-up, also had to go to the spectacles shop to have a little correction and then some shopping to do and an appointment with her mother. But on the way she got a flat tire on her bike( one with a little engine on it, not a real motor bike), so she had to walk to the shop where she usually is having the repairs on it etc. With Séverine on her side she did so, but the shop  was closed due to holiday. Oh whee, now she had to walk back home, and for a rather long distance. This bike of her is a bit heavy and not easy to handle when you have to walk with it, so the poor thing was completely exhausted by the time she came home. I thought it would be better I leave her in peace and we made an appointment for today. Then we will have peace and quiet, as Danny is at work and I can hear more about her holiday and we probably will have some girls talk too, LOL!
So I hope the rain will stop a bit later today and that I can walk to her without an umbrella(I hate these things).
Oh yes, I wanted to tell you, you really should take a look at my friend Edna's blog, this lady can make the most beautiful pictures and now she's having some awesome ones of a hummingbird! Worth to take a look!
Okidoki, that's it, except for the freebie. A nice kit, strangely enough a bit suiting because of the announcement at the beginning of this post( and then I didn;t knew about it yet). The kit is named"Un Souvenir".
Have a lovely day.

Thank you for letting us know about Lori. I was so shocked! I did go to her blog and leave my condolences.

Your kit is lovely. And so fitting. I'm glad you liked my little birds. Makes me happy when other folks like my photos.

You have a fantastic day today. Hopefully, the rain will stop. Actually, you could send it over here. We could use a bit of it.

Hugs, Edna B.dd
