Weekend was nice!

Goodmorning everybody!

On Friday we had still some nice weather and went to some fairs, took a long walk, but we enjoyed ourselves. Then Saturday it first looked not too good, but a bit later on even the sun came along, so we took our coats and went to see another little fair not too far away from us. It also wasn't too bad and one things was great: Jan found himself 3 pairs of trousers for a price of nothing although they were about 50 euro a piece. But not now! We bought them for 30 euro all three of them! Now they are just waiting on a chair here, to be shortened a bit. So he'll have to put one on to let me measure it. But what a great price!! I figure that even if he only can wear them one year, it still is a good bargain. Oh, and he also found a nice belt for them too for a small price. So it was a very "fruitfull"day. LOL
Oh yeah, I also made us a big pan of soup, it tasted yummie, still have some stuck away in the freezer.
Yesterday the weather was much more unpleasant, lots of rain, rather strong wind, so we had only a very short
walk and were glad to return home and be in a nicer temperature.
In between all that I even had a bit of time to design some, and hop into the forum to see what challenges were up. Snowy is still figuring out how to get back the store part, poor thing, so she did put up a few challenges and challenges us to come up with some more! Clever girl! So if you want to do some challenges that are out of the ordinairy, come to the forum and take a look, LOL. I came up with one "Detective challenge", you have to pick a title from a favourite detective and make a layout for it as a book cover. I made this one:(click to see it bigger)
I thought it might be fun to do and it keeps your imagination working.

Now your freebie for today is a small kit, named it "Simple Spring", hope you can do something with it. And don;t forget the daily download on the forum http://www.magickalscraps.com/bb/index.php.
Here I have your preview:

Have a fantastic day!

Your new challenge sounds great. I'll have to give it some thought. Hmmmm!

I'm still at work but I get to go home in a couple of hours. It's only 5a.m. You have a grand day, my friend. Hugs, Edna B.
