Lots of sunshine hoorray!

Goodafternoon everybody!

Jan's laryngitis is going better, not yet completely gone I guess, but improving.
My back is getting better too, although very slowly. Never mind, as long as it will be completely okay again one day in near future.
We've had about two days of lesser good weather, with lower temperatures and almst no sun. But further on last week it was great weather and it is coming back again. Already today we can open the garden doors again and sit in the garden.

I have a little "friend"in the garden, it is a younger bird, a thrush(hope  have the right name for this bird). It's a bit a pityful one, because he(or she) broke one paw and it didn;t heal properly. So the bird can use it a bit when hopping around, but still it is a handicap. Poor little thing. So  I give it some bradcrums and sometimes some tiny pieces of apple when it shows up and the bird isn;t shy at all. Comes at about just 50 cms. of distance of me, so nice.
I also have a little dish with some water for it. I call the bird Hinkie("hinken"in Dutch means "to limp") LOL.
It shbows up almost every day  2 or 3 times. I hope Hinkie will be able to survive the summer and perhaps also survive to next year.
We;ll see how it will go.

Yesterday Jan and I went to a little fair nearby, it wasn't too great weather but it was dry at least. we had a nice walk and took a yummie sandwich with a herring on it. Along the way there was a stand with some music and when we passed there was a young fellow playing guitar and sung some lovely songs. He did quite well and we stayd for a little while to listen and have some fun. As we went again I applauded for him and gave him a thumbs up. And it brought a big smile on his face. It is always nice for someone whoe is entertaining, to get some appreciation, isn't it?

Our garden is thriving, and every few days there are more blooms to see. I really must kick myself and get some photos, so that i can post them next time.

For now you will have to do with a preview and download from a new kit, named All about Family.
Take care and have a wonderful week!

Good morning Kyra. I'm so glad to hear that both you and Jan are beginning to feel much better. Especially with the nice weather upon us. It must be so nice sitting out in your garden. I love that you have a new little birdie friend. If he hangs around for the winter, maybe you could build him a nice warm little house to live in and keep him warm.

We've been having some lovely weather, but now we are in a cool spell for a few days. I'll be glad when it passes and the better temps return. Today I'm off to do a bit of grocery shopping. I'd best get it done before the rain comes.

Enjoy your garden and your little bird. You have a wonderful week my friend, hugs, Edna B.

I've been really busy packing myself, going down the 53 miles to my new area and looking at houses to Rent. Will make another trip tomorrow and hopefully will have a new address to boot. We have to be out of this house by the 15th. I won't have any help from my children since they have alienated themselves from me. I found out they were wanting to take over managing my life and not in a way I would be happy with. So I changed cities for my move. The wanted to manage all my finances and would give me an allowance. Not this year or any year. But I'm a survivor so I'm good.

Thank you for the new kit. I'm not doing too much on the cptr as I'm sorting my life into boxes but I love the colors of this one.

Thanks for the lovely kit once again. Your post sounds so nice and happy. The summer makes us all feel like that. I know for me for sure! I am happy you have a new little friend to keep you amused. I live in a city and don't get many birds at my feeder. But yesterday I had Mr and Mrs Gold Finch (wild canary) filling themselves up. So happy to see something besides the sparrows. But I am happy for anything that comes to it! Keep smiling and hugs.

Hello my friend...I'm playing a little catch up here, haven't been on computer in almost a week...so lazy now that I am an "old broad" (turned 71 last month..lol) Anyhow, glad the both of you are feeling somewhat better and the weather is cooperating....here it is so humid and miserable, several days under heat advisory (above 100F) as well as bad air quality...and with asthma, I just stay inside with the AC running!
Thanks for the lovely gift! Have a marvelous weekend and keep loving Hinkey, sounds so sweet of you to care for it! Hugs, Mat

Hello and Thank you for this lovely download Kyra. It is good to hear you and Jan are both on the mend. I hope you get some more nice weather very soon. Hinkie is very lucky to have such a caring person to watch out for him...
