Happy Easter to all!

Goodafternoon everybody!

I hope my internet will keep on working. t is going on and off today, it makes me crazy.!!!
Well, my nice of rance is gone again. She and her husband came on Wednesday and already left Friday afternoon. (I thought they were leaving Saturday, but they only could book the airbnb till Friday).
They didn;t sleep here, because  couldn;t offer them a real comfy place to sleep, so they booked an airbnb, which was in the nieghbourhood and they had a comfy little appartment even.
But they were here for lunch and I prepared dinner too, so we still had enough time together.
Last Tuesday I was busy all day in the kitchen already preparing dinner for the next two days. So  didn't have to spend too much time cooking at the times they were here. I could warm it up either on the stove or in the oven, one day only had to boil the potatoes and the other day I only had to make the salad.
It has been for a long time we didn't meet. ast time was already 10 years ago! Yes, then you notcie that time flies!
You know everybody gets older but somehow it also doesn't seem important and not really reality. But I really didn;t realize my niece and her husband too, already were 69 years old!! Funny and strange to realize that.
One afternoon I went on a little walk with them, the other afternoon they went to an interesting museum, the Escher museum and they had a good time there.(if you are interested in art look up the Escher museum on Google and you will see the kind of art this Dutch artist made. Really special and something different). Pity that Jan had very much trouble with his back, just this week. Poor guy couldn;t move very easily and had to take some more of his painkillers than he usually does. I think it will take some more days for him to feel really better again.
Yes, really was a pity, otherwise we would have been able to do some moore with them, but well, it just couldn't.
It was at times a bit difficult to have conversation in French for me, you know. Understanding it was not a problem, but speaking it again, pffffff, not easy anymore. But I managed somehow. And then also had to translate to Jan and back to them too, because jan doesn;t spek French.
Still all together we had a wonderful time and it was good to have met again. Both are really wonderful and sweet people, I love them dearly.

Also pity weather wasn't really good. It was cold and only sometimes we had a bit of sun, so it was n o garden time.
Also now weather isn't really nice. Well, we have at times a bit of sunshine, but temps are letting us down at the moment. Just around 10C, and later this week we even might have some nightfrost again!
But when those days are over, I really hope temperature will rise again, because our seedlings are growing stedily, but they also need some warmth to really devellop well and Jan and I and also Brodski could do too with some warmth LOL!

I am sure  forgot to tell some things of the last week, but I will finish now, because I already did a lot of blogreading to catch up and at least made a blogpost so you know I am still around and doing rather well, I can say.
Now I only will have to find somewhere more creativity again and start doing some designing and such.
Glad i had some "stock"hanging around, hahaha, so I can offer you a kit today.
Named Roses speak in Silence, and  think it is a good kit for Spring and summertime and also for nostalgic scrapping.
I give you preview of the kit and the papers too.
Have a lovely Easter weekend!

Happy Easter my friend. I'm so glad you got to visit with your niece and her husband. Too bad the weather wasn't nicer, but the weather does not make the visit. I'm sorry to that Jan is having so much pain. Maybe when the warm temps return he will be able to feel much better.

Our temps are a bit on the cool side too. Today is supposed to get up to 80 degrees, but then we will have a whole week of temps in the 50's. This is not so good.

Your kit and Arlene's clusters are lovely. I will try to download them later. Media Fire must be busy because they are not letting us download at the moment. Goodness, it's always something with the internet. lol.

Now I'm off to make a post. You have a blessed day Kyra. Hugs, Edna B.

Oh Kyra, how lovely the kit is. Thank You very much.
I am delighted that you could spend time with your niece and husband. I wish that I could spend more time with my family. It is special when it happens tho.
Happy Easter to you and Jan and Brodski. For us we are not doing anything special today. We are all having a rest from work and a busy week. We had planned to drive out and see the wildflowers in bloom but have just last minute changed our minds.
Have a wonderful week ahead... Hugs, Beth

So happy to hear everything is okay over there. I have been wondering about you lately. Glad you had such an enjoyable visit with your niece and hubby. We are experiencing the up and down weather also but our spring seems to be early and for that I am happy. At 75 you take what you can. Lol.
Thanks so much for a very diversified kit. I will make use of it for sure.
Hugs and good health to both you and Jan.

Thank you for the lovely kit. I love the birds and flowers. Arlene has done a great job with the cluster! Thank you both.
I haven't been on the computer very much for this last week. I was working in the terraced garden and in trying to leave I got my foot tangled in the little fence I put up and fell down on my bottom, which wasn't too bad but, the shovel also came down and hit me in the forehead! Good sized lump and it's still there. Went to the ER yesterday and they did a CT scan. Nothing broken, no tumors, and not bleeding on the brain. Just a horrendous headache and an ugly looking bruise. Tried to cover the bruise with bangs but I have pure white hair and it showed through. Oh well, I just admit being a Klutz!
