An off day and creeping up again LOL

Goodmorning everybody!

Our weather is rather cold, but here in the west part we still cannot complain too much. We have some frost, but in the North-East they had a couple of days of serious frost(around -10C night) and there even was a first competition on natural ice there.
Porbably this night we will have again a cold night but if all forecasts are right in the weekend it will be lots better, meaning no more freezing and temps around 6 or perhaps more at daytime. How wonderful sounds that????

Monday I wasn;t feeling all too good, not that I felt sick, but my mood was low and got lower towards the end of the day. It was a real bad day, an off-day as you could say. It just sometimes happens, and don;t ask me how. it's just that all things big and small, little problems, larger issues, worries about all kind of things just heap up and suddenly all seems so very difficult and gloomy and terrible and for a moment you just don;t see any solution or ray of light.  Lucky me I got rid of it pretty soon, although it lingered still a bit yesterday.
So don;t worry, I am not having some break down or burn out, just a bad day.
Oh well, yesterday I was much better already and went out to do some shopping, catching some fresh air(it was rather cold than fresh LOL), but it was good for me.

Jan went yesterday to a check up appointment with his doctor for his vains and such and he did a little test and all was really looking good. So if nothing strange happens, it isn't necessary for Jan to have another appointment with him. That is not too bad news, is it?

I think it is time for me to have a sandwich, then i can take my pill for my stomach(going a lot better, perhaps somewhere next week i can stop with it, I hope), and then may be go out for a moment. or I'll wait a bit longer, it seems to be raining a little at the moment.
There might be enough launry in the machine to turn it on, and in the afternoon I will watch a Father Brown mysterie on he BBC, amongst other things .

I have a freebie for you, named A Men's world.
Have a wonderful day, till next time.

Thanks so much dear for the lovely men's kit! So glad to read that Jan is doing much better (and your stomach is too). I'm getting ready to return to work tomorrow...got to get into a new routine! We still have the yo-yo weather here. Right now it's chilly, but tolerable!
got side tracked doing a chore, then remembered I was in midst of chatting with you...LOL! Getting old I guess and easily interrupted!
Anyhow, enjoy the day and weekend ahead! Chat more next time! hugs, Mat

Oh dear Kyra. I don't like these Winter Blues either. The cold and the snow and ice are just not so much fun anymore now that I have aged so.

It is cold here, and we have a lot of snow headed our way this weekend. Not my cup of tea!! I can't even enjoy looking through my plant and bulb catalogue right now.

There is no basement below my part of the house, so the cold comes up through the floors. I keep them carpeted, but the kitchen and pantry are tile. I feel so bad for Pogo. His little paws get cold, but he does not understand to stay where it is carpeted.

Ah well my friend, Spring really will be coming soon. I think you will see it before we do. Stay warm and hang in there. Maybe plant a little indoor herb plant? Have a wonderful evening, hugs, Edna B.

I understand about those days when you think it's best to go back to bed and start over. We've been fussing back and forth with our landlord to get him to fix the wireing in our house so we could use baseboard heaters that are already installed but not working. He did get a couple of estimates but he said he didn't want to do anything to the house because he wants it to be condemned (at least that's what I think is going on) and then he can write the whole property off on his taxes. He did assume that we would be willing to live in it like this but when Bridgit put her foot down he sent us a text telling he was evicting us and we had till the 31st.

Then he showed up on Sat. to inspect the property and was really surprised at the good condition and great job Bridgit did with the painting and putting down a new floor. He told his family he needed to look and see what sort of damage we had done to his house. Then before he left last evening he said we weren't evicted. But we will continue to look for housing elsewhere because I don't think he's going to fix it at all. No respectable electrician is going to do the rewiring for under $3K and it'll probably be more.

After it's condemned he's only going to get 1/3 of what's he could have gotten if he'd fixed it up. I'd buy it and tear it down completely and start over but I'm not really liking this neighborhood anyway.

I want to thank you for the new kit. Don't have many men around here except that they come and go! With 2 adult females with boy friends that pick them up for dates. But if they stand still long enough for a picture, I'll have a kit to use on them. Thank you.
