We'll' have a warm day today!

Goodmorning everybody!

I am all alone this morning for a little while, because Jan went to hospital for his MRI. Well, it shouldn;t take all too long, so I better take advantage of the quiet here now LOL.
I wasn;t very busy the last two days Jan did more, actually.
He already painted one wall in the backroom, and yesterday started putting together one of the racks.
So I suppose he wants to finish that this weekend and we can store there things that are standing for th e moment in the extension room.
I am sure it all will look better when it's done.
When putting things back , it gives us a chance to go through them and perhaps put some things aside to throw away.

Today we might have a rather hot day, but they expect clouds and may be thinder and lightning towards the evening and perhpas some rain with it. When that has passed temperatures will drop again 5 or even more degrees for the next few days. Not too bad, as long as we have some sunshine periods.
We had two quiet evenings regarding the soccer, but tonight there are two quarter finales to be seen.
And tomorrow our Orange Lions have to play one against Costa Rica, and the Beldguims have to play against Argentina.
Well, of course we hope our team will reach the semi finals, and we do hope that too for the Belguims.
Would be fun to have them play one of the semi finals against eachother. Pity they weren't in another group, we hoped all the time that perhaps there was a possibility to play final against eachother. That will not happen this way.

I have some more photos of the garden. First one is of Brodski, enjoying the morning sun.
Then here overview of our tall dahlia's, they have lots of buds.
In front of the red dahlia's we have some malva's. rather tall too, and we grew them from tiny little seeds, so they were a success! It asked a lot of patience, but now they start to bloom and I just love those flowers. Must collect seeds from them for next year.
We also sprankled some seeds from a package with all kind of different field flowers, and they start to bloom now too, finally. Even there is a poppy in it.
And last year I bought us some lupines and saved a few seeds from them. I planted them and two of them came to growth and now start to bloom. The flowers aren;t as big as other sorts of lupines, but I love the color and of course happy, that the saving seeds had a little result.
Hmmm, don;t know yet what i will do today, perhaps I must take out the vacuum cleaner for a quick sweep, and that's about all I can think of now, but I will certainly find some other things to do.

Start of a new kit today, a real kit for Summertime, when, if possible, we visit the beach.
I gave it a simple name: "At the Beach"LOL.
Have a wonderful weekend and till next week.

Hello Kyra !
Hope your husband has good results after his MRI, and that everything is ok. Please take care of yourself, and be careful with your epilepsie.
Soccer is everywhere, and here they talk a lot about Van Persie ! but I'm sure there are many other good players in your team. Good luck for Holland !!
Your flowers are beautiful, I just love this little poppy, and your white hydrangea !
Thank you so much for this new kit, it makes us dream !
Have a great week-end !
Hugs,
Florence

What a lovely photo of Brodski enjoying the nice weather. Kyra, your garden is beautiful. I sprinkled lots of seeds from a package too, but so far all I have is a lot of greenery in that spot. Oh well, we tried. Next year we'll try something else. I did find out why some of the bulbs that were planted in the new garden did not grow. It's because Joe planted them on the other side of the house instead. DUH! We'll try this again next year too.

Your new kit looks lovely. One of these days, I'd like to drive out by the ocean so that Pogo can see it. Maybe we'll go late in the day and get some nice photos of the sun setting over the water. Hmmm, a good idea I think. You have a fabulous weekend my friend. Hugs, Edna B.

This one looks interesting. I wish I lived close to a beach. After living on Midway, then Guam, and then Yokosuka, I spent 10+ years close to the ocean. And Long Beach, CA & San Diego are both pretty close too. Now we live in the high desert.

Anyway I'm going to love the kit, no matter how I use it. Thank you for the new kit.
