Let's enjoy last day of Christmas lights!

Goodmorning everybody!

Our weekend was quiet, filled with just little things that had to be done, but also with lots of "free-time"LOL!
On the weather part we still cannot complain. Temperatures stay around 46 to 50 F daytime, there will be a bit more rain, the only thing that is a bit less nice is we have some stronger winds.
But hey, I am not really complaining. It may be that by next week temperatures will drop a bit, even could happen that at night we reach the zero point, or perhaps 1 or two degrees beneath.
This morning just saw on the news some pictures of parts of the US with the snow and cold.
Oh my, it  is not a thing I would like to have around here!

Today is the last day we will have our Christmaslights on, I just placed the three wise men in the manger, as it is the 6th of January. Then tomorrow we will remove all Christmas stuff, hopefully we can do it in one day.
And then Wednesday I will have my birthday(already 61, brrr), not that I will have a big party or whatever. We let it happen in silence LOL, but perhaps I will make something extra nice for dinner, we will see.
Then again Jan will have his 3 weeks of happiness, yeah! Then he can say he is younger than his wife!
it's always kind of joke we have almost as trdition over the years, grin!
And 3 weeks later he will reach his 61th too!
I pronounce the figure, but although I sometimes feel older than it, most of the time I don;t actually realize I am in my 60's. At times the body may act like it, but still the mind and heart are feeling much younger, and as long as that's the case, there is still hope ROFL!

It was quit a busy time in the weekend at tv, you know, Suddenly the different channels all come up with new series, and we tried to watch several of them to see if they are any good to keep following. Well, some of them are off our list already(what a relief, we wouldn;t have time to see all of them), but a couple were not bad at all. And it will be nice, to have something new to watch in the next months.

Time to slowly get into gear, and if weather stays a bit like now(hopefully the wind will slow down a bit) we might take a walk to the market, cause we could do with some fresh things.
And if not, there is still enough to do in the house( less attractive to do, but not to escape from hahaha).
I have another winter kit for you,  "Cold but Cozy", with a terrific add-on from Arlene( she has TWO quickpages for you!).
Hope all of you who have to deal with the snow and cold will stay safe, all the other ones, who have a bit better weather conditions, will cherish it and be happy with it!
Have a wonderful day!

Good afternoon. We too, will be taking down our Christmas decorations tomorrow. It will be sad to see them packed away, but then we can look forward to next Christmas. Actually, I am looking forward to Spring. It can't come soon enough for me.

It is quite foggy here today with rain. I'm not complaining though, because it could be worse - snow!

You are right, a birthday doesn't make us feel any different. We are whatever we feel in our mind and heart. At least I like to think so. My body hasn't decided yet if it agrees with me. lol.

Pogo is very playful today, so I shall go play with him a while now. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

Good morning Kyra:)
First of all..let me wish you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Jim's Birthday is Thursday. We have to get new tags on his van tomorrow...so..If I miss getting here on YOUR day..you will already have a Birthday greeting from me.:) Jim will be 61 also. Then later in the month I will be turning the big 60. Happy to know you don't feel as old in your mind as your body makes you think you are.LOL

I already have my CHRISTmas decorations packed up and put away and my regular ones back home in their display spots.:)Did that before the new year!It really feels good to have it back to normal.

The weather is the main topic here in our country. It is 6 degrees where we live.I can't remember EVER having it that low.brrrr.Yes..I am staying inside until tomorrow.LOL

I LOVE your kit! It can be used for more than just CHRISTmas time.:) Thank you and Arlene for sharing with me!

Huge hugs my friend!
