Seems to work okay.

Hello, there I am again.
Well, seems to work okay till now. It was really annoying all this error stuff and so. As I said I could do it all in IE, but I am soooo used to Firefox, it's just a tiny little bit different, but I like Firefox, so I am glad it all is okay for the moment.
The last couple of days I did all kind of things. And Jan also was rather busy with his agency, to get a schedule together for the month of July and August already. He gave them the days he would be available for shifts, now we will have to wait if they can fill them in.
But at the moment he will be working today, tomorrow and Sunday, hoorray!
The shifts aren;t very long ones, but we are glad he has already some work.
Today he will be working from 17.45 till 22.00 am, tomorrow from 16.45-22.00 am and Sunday 7.45 till 12.00 pm.
He is in the home care, so will be going to several addresses of people who need a bit of help. He rather would have a job in a elderly care home or nursing home, to be on one place, which could be in a way less tiring, but at the moment they ask almost always people for the home care. Well, work is work and it will bring money in, and hopefully he will have a lot of shifts. May be after a month or two, three, he can try to apply for a "steady"job for one the elderly-or nursing homes associations he is working for now via the agency on a flex-base.
I am real proud of him that he tries hard and it isn;t easy to get used to the working hours again after a few years of "free"life.
Also for me it's getting used to it again, I am such a sweet wife who also gets up in the early morning when he has an early shift, to make him coffee and a little lunch box etc.  He always says I don;t have to, but I feel it is the least I can do LOL.

Today the weather isn't looking too well, it's cloudy, raining and temerature isn't all to high. Still we had fairly nice weather the last couple of days, with some sunshine and then it was nice to be in the garden.
Yesterday I called Heidi to hear if she was home, and she was for a while, so I went over to have a nice quiet chat with her. We were lucky to be able to sit in the garden and it was nice. We talked a bit about everything but most about our gardens LOL!
And when I left, I had with me a large plastic bag with all kind of cutlings from plants out of her garden. We have such fun with that, she takes things from me, I get things from her, and it is always the question if the cutlings will grow. Sometimes they do well, sometimes they don't seem to be so willing, but it's fun.
And it saves money, cause we won;t have to buy plants at a garden centre.

Her husband Danny has some health problems at the moment. He is having a lot of trouble with a knee, with his cross ties. That can be very painful! The hospital made already some scans and soon he will hear what they can do about it. It might be an operation, poor thing.
If so, he will be home for a few weeks after it, I guess. Hopefully it will not interfere with their holiday planning.

Now I must think of dinner for today and tomorrow. Jan should have a warm meal before he goes on his evening shift, so we'll have to eat around 5.00 am today and tomorrow even earlier. During his shift he won;t have too much time to eat something, he only will have time to eat a sandwich, probably in the time he is on his bike riding to another address, but I think that is not enough for him. May be I can make a soup for tomorrow, a well filled one, but for today I have no idea yet. Should be something quick but nourishing.
One thing is nice, that he gets normally a cup of coffee on his roundsfrom once of his clients LOL.

Time to get to some freebies now, been sooo long since the last one. First go to Edna's blog, scroll down a few days and find the start of a new kit!
Linda has made a beautiful quickpage with the "Precious Time"kit.
Snowy too has some great freebies on her blog, and you can guess she is excited because her date of leaving to the USA is coming very near!

From Arlene I have clusters made with the Tender Gesture kit. She also made you two page overlays in PNG, they will surely give your layout something special.!

And from me you will have another fantasy kit, "Believe in Fairy Magic", may be it can keep you busy this weekend with making some lovedly layouts!!!
I'll have a previes of the papers and of the whole kit.
Now I think the post is long enough, time to grab another cup of coffee, and slowly get busy overhere. Also have to get me some cat food for the weekend, so rain or not, I must go out.
May be I can do some designing over the weekend, I almost have a kit finished now, but there is also the soccer in the evening, so we'll see, if the match is interesting I stay put on the couch, if not, it could be a good time at the computer, with Jan at work.
Anyway, I wish you all to have a wonderful weekend, till Monday again.

Wow, what beautiful colors in your kit. It's good that Jan is back to work now. It will just take a bit of getting used to now that you will have more time alone.

When i go home this morning, I'll be off for two days, and the weather is supposed to be great, warm and sunny. Here's hoping the sun shines all weekend for you too. Have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
