Where to start? I think I'll start with mu blog. I asked for help for "my followers"in the side bar. It seems now that everybody can see them, only not me. I've made a screenshot of what I see there, may be somebody will now how I can fix it?
I can see my followers from the dashboard, but not on my blog sidebar.
Well, Wednesday morning Jan went to the agency and yeah, he has a subscription now!
It all happened while I was at Heidi's.
I didn;t stay very long at Heidi, but I will try to see her soon again and then we can talk a bit.
When I left there I took the tram and went to a part of The Hague we go sometimes, there they have a nice shop centre, and on Wednesday's a little market. I bought there big chunks of old cheese, it's always for a pretty good price, looked a bit around there and went home again.
Just short after my homecoming Jan also arrived. He also went for a moment to Heidi for her birthday, and had the good news of his subscription.
Even better news, on Monday Jan has a "partner-walk through"in the morning with a healthcare worker, so he can get an idea how it works. He mostly will work with people at their home, so in a shift he will have to go by bike to several addresses and help the people with all kind of things.
But it will all be in a small area, so not too bad. And may be he will already have work the rest of that week yeah. Don;t know yet for how many hours, but it's a start.
Next thing to do for him was getting a mobile phone LOL!
We are those die-hards that kept that away from us till now, we didn;t really needed one. But now, with his work, he will need one. Okay, he went to town and after a while came back with one.
Now th at wasn;t too hard, but now get it working! Wow, if you NEVER touched one before, the instruction paper with it isn;t all to clear for a dummie ROFL.
So he tried to figure it out, called Heidi for some advice, and after dinner finally went to a little shop where they sell those damned things. Lucky for him, the guys there were very helpfull and friendly, and we got it working, almost. At least he can be called and he can make a call. Now he has to figure out the phone list, and all that kind of stuff. I know, most of you probably will smile and think: Oh that isn;t hard to do", but for totally techy dummies it all isn;t that obvious.
I am not getting involved, at least I try, let him figure it out and then he can explain it to me ROFL.
It will keep him busy this weekend!
Oh, when Jan was buying his phone, he wanted to use his bankpass to pay. But, as he told me, he suddenly didn;t know for sure his code anymore! Tried the one he thought it was, but no!
So before his card would be "swallowed" he paid cash. Thinking, thinking, all afternoon, looking in the papers to find the code, we didn;t find it! That's always the case when you really need it.
Relief........when he went to the phone shop, he tried again and remembered the code. PFFFFFFFFF.! Now I wrote it down somewhere, in case it happens again.!
So we had two rather turbulant days all together.
But we two are ever so happy that may be Jan already will have some work very soon.
Must give credit also to the staff working at the agency, I had several of them on the phone, to ask some questions and so on, they are very nice and friendly.
Today starts the European Championships Soccer, yeah. As we are kind of fans of soccer, we will have some great weeks, I hope. Tomorrow our Dutch team will play its 1st match. We don;t have too high hopes, but may be they will suprise us!!!!
Lets get over to some freebies. I have some lovely clusters made by Arlene, with the Early Morning kit.
And then the kit for this weekend. I wanted to make already for a longer time something with water, and finally something came from my hands LOL. Here you have "Underwater Secret".
Hopefully you can use it for something nice.
Now let's go back to some "bleep-bleep"(yeah, you guessed right, Jan's mobile grin grin),
may be some housework(but I already did a lot the last few days, good girl!), oh, and I have to find a little bag or backpack for Jan, when he goes to work, to put some stuff in it, like his working papers, something to eat, etc.
Have all a fabulous weekend, see you on Monday, take care!
