New teeth????

Goodmorning everybody!

Looks a bit cryptic, the title? Well, it shouldn't be. No, yesterday Jan went to the dental mechanic to have himself a new dental prosthesis. His actual one is already very old etc. so it was really time to change that. Luckily the health care insurance we have is covering partially for it, but yeah, it's still some money!
So within a few weeks Jan will have a completely bright smile again LOL!
Now a days to get something back from the health insurance company has to be done with filling in paperwork again, and we are just lucky that in our basic insurance this still is covered. Because less and less is covered in that insurance! Of course you can have more covered but then you'll have to take an additional insurance, which costs more etc etc. It all went worng when they switched the health insurance to commercial insurance companies! Years ago it was all much easier and more simple: everybody who had a job or was in social care payed a percentage directly to health care, that was done on the payroll, so everybody was insured. (this health care was of the government). If you didn't pay automatically in this way, you could do that privately. So I think it also was more fair and equal: if you had a big salary you payed the same percentage as somebody with a less income, but the amount you payed was larger, pro rato.
The way it is now, it is becoming slowly more and more expensive and I forsee that one day soon lots of people will have no insurance for healthcare anymore, simply because it will be too expensive for a lot of families.
So it proves, that not all changes are for the best.

Is there something happier to talk about? Yes, a bit there is. Minky has gone completely nuts. She is joining in the Aussie Sleigh Ride blogtrain! You should go to her blog to read more news, cause there is more Christmasnews!
Hope I've made you a bit curious!!!!!!

Now today I really am going to do the grocerie shopping, I didn;t had the drive yesterday, and I think it's been a good idea, cause the weather looks a tiny little bit better today.
I promised you yesterday I would have also a kit this week, and so today is the day. And we can go on with the Vintage bragbookpages tomorrow again.
This kit could be nice to scrap some favourite pictures of loved ones that are no longer in your life, but still in your heart and therefor I named it"Remember with Love".
Have a fantastic day!

Good morning Kyra. It's a bit wet here, but still a good morning. You and Minky are so full of energy! But I certainly do love all the new stuff. If I can, I will try to join the Christmas train too. It sounds like so much fun.

I wish Jan lots of good luck with his new teeth. Sometimes they can be such a problem learning to get used to. Happy smiles Jan!

You have a wonderful day now. Hugs, Edna B.
