A busy couple!

Goodmorning everybody!

Oh my, we were a busy couple yesterday. I just had to wash the curtains hanging in front of the garden doors, they had a strange colour LOL. So took out the ladder and detached them from the hooks and washed them in the washing machine. As it was not bad weather at all, at least it was dry I good hang them outside to dry. And while they were there I wanted to givew the windows a sweep with some water too! As I was filling the bucket Jan took over, he would do that, he said. Wasn't that awefully nice of him?
So him being busy at the windows, I did some serious ironing, then you have to put all at it's place in the closets, after that already prepared the vegetables for dinner, in between grabbed a quick sandwich and did some washing up.
Some cleaning here and there and then the curtains were almost dry, so Jan could hang them at their place again. It definately looks much better, LOL.
Written down it doesn't look we did much, but it all takes it's time and after that I was happy to sit down for a moment.
Today I have "shopping"day again, filling up the fridge etc. It's not looking as bright as in the weekend outside, but  think it's still not too bad to be outside.

And all the time, at the back of my brain, I thought about my friend Edna and her brother, who are facing a terrible difficult time to come. The worst thing is a person feels herself so helpless in times like that, you cannot do anything to improve the situation, just can put your hope on the doctors and on a Higher Power.

Not a very uplifting post, I suppose, but life isn;t always so nice and easy. And sometimes life reminds you of that in a very crude way.

I better put on your freebie for today and do my things, and sorry for this a bit low spirited post.
Have a good day!

Beautiful designs again! I should really do my curtains as well, but I suppose I do that after I come back. I know what you mean , thinking of Edna and Artie as well -hope it's going as well as it can possibly go.
