A Spring day

Goodmorning everybody!

Jan and I were up early this morning. The reason for that was a bit a sad one. In the cafe Jan plays billiard sometimes with and older guy, just for the fun of it. Annd suddenly we got the message last week that this man passed away. We knew he had some health trouble, but we didn;t expect it to happen so fast. It seems the city council couldn;t find family, so his funeral will be very basic and sober. So Jan said he would go to the funeral, as well as the owner of the cafe. They thought it was too sad to let the men go away from this world all alone. Isn;t that sweet of them? So Jan is on his way now.
Not that it changes anything, but at least it is sunny outside. If it was raining and cloudy on a day like this, it would be even more sad, don;t you think so?

Well, it is life, and the older we get, the more people will disappear from our surroundings.  And although I know that it happens, and that is the rythm of life, I will never get used to it. And may be that is a good thing, I think it proves you still have feelings and compassion.

And today is again a day I must do some shopping again. But I would love to do it, it looks to be a fine day, so we better enjoy all those spring like days nature offers us. May be even this week Jan will make a start in the garden! I say "may be", better not to get too enthousiastic LOL! But he wanted to make a few changes in it, like making a new path to the back of the garden. When he starts I better be somewhere else, LOL. Or I just have to bite on my lips, to prevent that I say things to him like"no, you cannot do that", or "watch out for that precious little plant" or even worse: "you are doing it the wrong way"! Hahaha, I know myself too well! We are in some things a great team, but working on something really side by side isn;t one of them at times. I suppose it is so because we have different ways of doing things. But, as with a lot of things in life, you will have to comprimise, give in in one thing, pushing through your idea in another thing.  But I am sure that in the end the garden will look a lot better(or at least I am hoping so LOL).

Okay, time to slowly get some things done, as putting on some clothes, making a little list for the shopping and go out not too late. So here is a little( and I mean a little) kit for you, Just some papers and elements, named "Mermaids World". Have fun with it.
You all have a fantastic day, you hear!

I agree, it is sad at times to watch life's cycle come and go. At my age, a lot of my friends have already passed on, so I appreciate the value of the days that I have.

I have a bit of work to do in my little garden too. Unfortunately, we are back to raining again this week. Hopefully, it will stop before it causes more problems.

Have fun shopping today, and enjoy the sunshine. Hope your day is great, hugs, Edna B.
